IBB Solicitors Announces New Appointments to the Charities Team: Paul Ridout and Rosie Brass

Paul Ridout and Rosie Brass Join IBB's Charity Law Team

IBB Solicitors (IBB) announces the appointment of specialist charities expert Paul Ridout. Paul joined the firm on 22 August 2016 as a partner from Veale Wasbrough Vizards and his appointment comes shortly after the arrival of Rosie Brass, a senior solicitor from Blandy & Blandy.

Paul has a wealth of expertise in all aspects of charities law ranging from constitutional changes and sponsorship to mergers and trading activities. He has a particular specialism in advising faith-based charities, corporate foundations and operational charities. As former secretary of the board of commissioners at the Charity Commission, Paul is well placed to support charities in their relationship with the Commission.

Rosie has considerable expertise within the charities sector, advising charities on their formation and governance. Her commercial expertise enables her to provide comprehensive advice on matters affecting non-profit organisations.

Joanna DeBiase, Managing Partner at IBB, comments:

“Paul and Rosie are welcome additions to the charities team and the firm. IBB is dedicated to making the law work for charities and businesses and these appointments reflect that commitment—bolstering our clients’ access to expert charities advice. As the firm continues to reinforce our charities offering, we will consistently meet the needs of our clients, both domestically and internationally.”
