Paul Mason is the latest Partner to join IBB West London Solicitors. A specialist in serious and complex crime, he moves from TV Edwards to join our Crime team. He has significant expertise in conducting white collar and very high cost fraud matters and other sophisticated criminal cases and investigations and is an accredited Fraud Supervisor of the Legal Services Commission Specialist Fraud Panel and holds Higher Rights of Audience for criminal cases. Additionally, he presents at training seminars for barristers and solicitors on advocacy skills and the management of very high cost cases and serious frauds.
Notable Cases
Advising and representing a large national charity in respect of corporate manslaughter allegations, successfully defending individuals charged with multi million pound VAT evasion upon large scale carousel frauds, cases involving proceedings under the Directors Disqualification Act, matters involving substantial fraud involving income tax and corporation tax for international companies. Paul also has experience in acting for large multinationals upon allegations of price fixing brought by the SFO.
