Now in the second year of her training contract, Chelsea will spend her last seat in the Charities team. She will gain experience in the formation of new charities, contractual agreements, incorporation of existing charities, and charity mergers and reorganisations.
Chelsea’s third seat was in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department in Chesham. She gained experience in trusts and estate planning, probate and administration of estates, and Court of Protection work.
Chelsea’s second seat was in the Criminal Defence team, where she assisted with a range of Magistrates and Crown Court work. During her time in this seat, she assisted the team with pre-trial preparation, liaising with clients and counsel and worked on a variety of cases ranging from road traffic offences and assaults to serious sexual offences and murder.
In her first seat, Chelsea worked in the Property Litigation department. She assisted the team with a variety of cases, including possession proceedings and claims for the recovery of rent and/or service charge arrears. She also gained experience in enforcement of judgments post-trial.
