Applying for a Period of Recognised Training

The Application Process

The selection process is rigorous and competitive but fair and provides a good opportunity for both the candidate and IBB to find out more about one another.

It is a rigorous procedure, but those who get through it know us well enough to know if we are the right firm for them.

Periods of Recognised Training at IBB

IBB are looking to recruit a small number of Trainee Solicitors to commence Periods of Recognised Training (PORT) with the firm in 2020. We seek bright and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the law and shaping the legal profession of the future.

Applications for Periods of Recognised Training commencing in Autumn 2020 are currently being accepted by the firm until 01 May 2020. All applicants who want to apply for a Trainee opportunity are required to submit a covering letter and CV via the firm’s career webpage.

As part of the selection process candidates shortlisted on the strength of their applications will be invited to have a telephone interview with Human Resources. Successful candidates will then progress to the critical reasoning assessment stage Which is followed by an assessment day in June.
