IBB Solicitors Advises Interarts Limited on the Disposal of London Waterjet

West London’s leading law firm IBB Solicitors (IBB) has advised Interarts Limited on its sale of the waterjet cutting business known as London Waterjet to Rob and Ryan Waterjet Limited, a company owned and controlled by Rob Cross and Ryan Walker, who have been working with Interarts Limited since March this year.

The London Waterjet business has been providing a model making and profile cutting service primarily to the film industry for over 10 years.

London Waterjet remains based in High Wycombe and Pat Griffin, director of Interarts Limited, will continue to provide support and assistance from time to time to enable a smooth transition for London Waterjet customers.

The IBB Team advising Interarts Limited was led by Harriet Jones, a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Department and included Jeff Elphee, Real Estate Partner and Katherine Bereza, Real Estate Solicitor.

Rob and Ryan Waterjet Limited was advised by Kidd Rapinet LLP.

Commenting on the deal, Harriet Jones, said:

“We were delighted to act for Interarts Limited on this sale. The transaction allows Interarts director and shareholder Pat Griffin to focus on other creative projects within the film and television sector. The deal was another example of IBB’s ability to provide commercial and pragmatic advice on a transaction where matters outside the parties’ control caused a few challenges at times. We wish the buyer and seller every success working together in the future to deliver fantastic products to the film industry.”

Pat Griffin, director and shareholder of Interarts Limited commented:

“I had previously instructed the same solicitor since 1970-something and was a little apprehensive about using a new solicitor, but throughout this process I have been very happy indeed with the way Harriet handled everything, especially given the trials presented along the way. I appreciate all of the hard work and persistence shown by the IBB team to enable this deal to get to completion.”
