Ayushi Chadha

Ayushi is a dual qualified solicitor, enrolled as an Advocate in India since 2014 and as an English Solicitor since 2020. Ayushi joined IBB’s Commercial Litigation Department in March 2021.

Ayushi has an undergraduate degree in commerce from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, (First class, distinction) and her LLB from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University (First class). Ayushi further pursued an LLM in International Business Laws from the London School of Economics (Merit).

Prior to moving to London, Ayushi was an Associate at Agarwal Law Associates, a Chambers & Partners ranked band 1 firm for litigation and dispute resolution. There she gained experience in representing large telecom and broadcasting companies before the Telecom and Disputes Appellate Tribunal, the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India. She has advised and litigated complex commercial matters including challenging the Indian government’s refusal to renew spectrum licenses, non-grant of security licence to a radio broadcaster, levy of Entertainment Tax on a satellite broadcaster, and disputes related to tender bids for Metro construction.

Ayushi is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, making her approachable and easy to converse with. Outside of work, Ayushi enjoys baking, yoga and spending time with her cats.
