Charlotte Newlyn


Charlotte is a corporate and commercial lawyer, advising on a range of matters including: private acquisitions and disposals; group restructures; shareholder and joint venture agreements; and company incorporations and operations.

Charlotte also advises on all manner of commercial issues, including: commercial contracts; standard terms and conditions; and data protection issues.

Charlotte qualified as a solicitor and joined IBB’s Corporate and Commercial Team in March 2019. Prior to that, Charlotte trained at Royds Withy King LLP in London, having been a paralegal in the firm’s Bath office for 18 months.

Working alongside, Adam Dowdney, Jaspreet Patter, Harriet Jones and David Clark, Charlotte now advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters including:

  • Advising both buyers and sellers on private acquisitions and disposals;
  • Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, including standard terms and conditions;
  • Advising on property management company incorporations and operations; and
  • Advising on group restructures and shareholders’ agreements.
