James Jackson

Trainee Solicitor

James is a second-year Trainee Solicitor working in the firm’s Construction and Engineering team, where he assists with both contentious and non-contentious matters.

James completed his first seat in Residential Development. James assisted the team with complex land acquisitions and disposals, infrastructure, highways and utility agreements and property development finance. James spent his second seat within IBB’s Wills, Trusts and Probate department where he assisted with will drafting, Lasting Power of Attorney and Probate and the administration of estates.

Career: Before joining IBB Solicitors, James undertook a Masters where he studied the impact of the introduction of fees in employment tribunal cases. James has also worked at the Haringey Law Centre assisting the team in matters ranging from immigration to employment.

Education: James graduated from the University of Birmingham with LLB (Hons) (2:1). He then completed the Legal Practice Course (LLM) at the University of Law (Distinction).
