Kate is a third seat trainee in IBB’s Construction and Engineering team, where she assists the team in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Kate completed her first seat in IBB’s Family Department where she assisted the team with divorce and financial proceedings, children act proceedings and contentious probate matters. She completed her second seat in IBB’s Wills, Trusts and Probate team where she assisted with Will drafting, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate administration of estates and Court of Protection matters.
Prior to joining IBB, Kate worked for a small high street firm in North London as a Paralegal where she worked on cases involving blacklisted construction workers and LIBOR manipulation. Before commencing her training contract with the firm, Kate also worked as a Legal Administrator within the New Homes Team at IBB Solicitors where she assisted in the sale of new build properties on behalf of developer clients.
Kate studied Law (LLB) at the University of the West of England (Second Class, Upper Division) and later went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and LLM in Professional Legal Practice (Distinction) at the University of Law in Moorgate.
