Place West London is a strategic conference that will give delegates from property specialists, investors, occupiers and corporates and SMEs the chance to listen and debate on issues key to the future success of West London. The event will also help West London shape its future and ensure continued economic growth and prosperity.

With support and involvement from the West London Partnership, and all six Local Authorities, as well as from the private sector and the Greater London Assembly, Place West London is set to become West London’s Economic Development summit.

Organised around four themes, the event will include keynote speeches, discussion panels and focussed workshops:

  • People – Will the workforce be fit for the future? What training and skills provisions do we need to ensure a competitive workforce?
  • Places – What are the visions and plans for regeneration and development, and how can they be realised?
  • Infrastructure – What needs to happen to transport and social infrastructure to keep the West London economy running?
  • Economy – What are they key growth sectors, and how can they be nurtured?

The confirmed speakers are from the worlds of politics, business and regeneration, with Deputy Mayor of London Richard Barnes, HSBC Chief Economist Dennis Turner and Chairman of Arora International Surinder Arora.

Steven Booth, Managing Partner at IBB Solicitors commented “We are proud to be involved in Place West London and look forward to meeting local contacts from various industries. West London’s economy already contributes significantly to the UK economy as a whole, and Place West London drives its importance even further.

West London is an exciting and innovative place to work and live in and the event will pull together all the diverse people and businesses that make it what it is. It is an excellent opportunity to discuss the issues that face the area and to find out about new ventures and meet new businesses.”
