Colin Glass, Director of the Wealth Protection Division at Turbervilles Solicitors, one of West London’s leading law firms has been awarded the Charities and not for profit – Lawyer of the Year – UK Award by the prestigious Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards 2016.

Colin qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and specialises in advising UK and international clients on lifetime personal wealth protection and inheritance tax planning matters.

Colin’s work for the Charitable Sector extends to legal advice on Constitutional Governance, refinancing, mergers, maintaining charitable status, problems with employees, Trustee Concerns, assistance with Social Finance.

He is experienced in handling UK and international trusts and probates, as well as advising on Powers of Attorney. Colin works closely with Life Insurance Companies and Trust Companies in various jurisdictions including Luxembourg, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Cyprus, Mauritius, Malta and Singapore, as well as with national and international accountants and Independent Financial Advisers ensuring that his clients get access to the best possible advice when structuring their world-wide affairs.

He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Law Society Private Client Section, and regularly gives presentations to accountancy practices, financial advisers and banks regarding wealth protection and related issues. Colin is also an Ambassador for Certainty, the National Will Register and Trustee of The Young Harrow Foundation and The Yehudah Jez Freedman Foundation.
