The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 is now in force

The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 came into force on 31 January 2013, with the aim of supporting charities and social enterprises to win more public sector contracts by requiring the social value, as well as the financial cost, to be considered during the tender process.
