Spinal Injury Patient Sues Surgeon Following Operations Which Left Him in Constant Pain

Spinal surgery compensation claims

A man claims his life has been changed forever after “failed operations” said to have been performed on him by a surgeon.

Simon Evans, 30, suffered a slipped disc in 2010 while working as a HGV driver, however, after four operations to try and correct the problem, he has been left in constant pain.

Mr Evans said he was operated on four times by Professor Muftah Eljamel at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, but alleges he was never made aware of the risks of the procedures and the failed surgery has left him unable to walk without the aid of a crutch.

Spine injury patients could be entitled to compensation for negligent surgical treatment

Surgery on the spine and vertebrae is a very complex process and patients should always be made aware of the risks. If your surgeon has failed to explain the risks of an operation to you, or he or she was negligent in the treatment that they provided, you could be entitled to make a compensation claim. Our goal at IBB Solicitors is to obtain justice for victims of the negligence by others, by securing compensation that reflects their pain and suffering, as well as related financial losses including loss of earnings, treatment costs and specialist care costs.

We offer a No-Win No-Fee Agreement so there is no financial risk involved if you are not successful. To discuss your case or to make an appointment please contact us on 01895 207835 or 01895 207295. Alternatively, please email us at PI@ibblaw.co.uk or complete our online form..
