The Bury opens its doors for Heritage Day
IBB Solicitors will open up its Chesham office, The Bury, to the public on Sunday 12th September as part of Heritage Open Day. This annual event aims to give free access to properties that are normally closed to the public or that charge an entrance fee.
The Bury was purchased by the Lowndes family in 1687 and remained in their family for over 250 years. IBB has occupied the mansion since 1968.
The main rooms, which were part of the original building, and the extensive gardens will be open to the public. Guided tours by The Chesham Society, from 10am until 5pm, will also be available.For more information, visit www.heritageopenday.org.uk or www.cheshamsociety.org.uk.
