IBB Solicitors announces appointment of Malcolm Underhill as APIL Fellow

Leading West London based law firm IBB Solicitors today announces that partner Malcolm Underhill has been accepted as a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (“APIL”).

Founded in April 1990 by a group of barristers and solicitors who wished to improve the services provided for victims of personal injury, APIL has grown to become the trusted organisation in the promotion, encouragement and development of expertise in personal injury law. In order to become a Fellow it is necessary for the applicant to demonstrate they are an experienced practitioner displaying a high level of expertise. Their professional and intellectual leadership should be recognised by both colleagues and clients. In their last annual report, APIL announced there were just 180 Fellows throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Malcolm Underhill specialises in personal injury with particular focus on high value and complex cases, including child abuse. He regularly deals with multi million pound cases.

Malcolm has delivered training on behalf of APIL to other solicitors. on personal injury litigation, including maximising damages, for some time. He is also on the panel of solicitors for the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers (ACAL) and is listed as a leader in his field by Chambers UK legal directory 2011. Malcolm is on the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
