Joanna is a partner in our Wills, Trusts and Probate team with over 15 years private client experience specialising in:

Joanna’s niche strengths are estate and lifetime tax planning including the creation of trusts and the use of Family Investment Companies, working closely with our Corporate and Commercial Team to use the structure of such companies to support both her clients’ needs and tax planning objectives. Her experience means that she is able to deal with the administration of complex and high-value estates often involving business and farm assets, domicile issues and foreign assets, including the application of double taxation agreements.

Joanna regularly acts as attorney, trustee and executor for a number of clients and works closely with local accountants and financial advisors to ensure that her clients' estate planning requirements can be achieved and protected.

As a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly Joanna also advises on the management and the protection of affairs of the elderly and vulnerable including care fees issues, the use of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection.
