After training at Allen & Overy, John joined Toni & Guy as their first in-house lawyer. During almost 20 years at Toni & Guy as Legal Manager and then General Counsel, John’s experience covered a broad range of work, but with a particular emphasis on franchising, commercial, intellectual property, data protection and company secretarial matters.

We have been working with IBB Law for over 5 years now as I was introduced to Russell Ford via a contact in my capacity of Chairman of the Franchise Association for KFC UK & Ireland. Our Franchise Council hired Russell to look at numerous legal situations regarding the UK & Ireland’s KFC franchisees. Russell has played a pivotal role in shaping several policies regarding our brand & how we work together with Yum Brands.
