Rekha Toor


Rekha was admitted as a Solicitor in 2009 after completing her training at a leading regional firm based in the Thames Valley area. Upon qualification, Rekha moved to a firm in the City of London. Rekha Joined IBB in January 2018.


Rekha’s background is in commercial litigation however over the last few years her practice has concentrated heavily in Contentious Probate matters and she is an Associate Member of The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).


Rekha advises clients on all aspects of trust and estate litigation including:


  • Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
  • Contentious probate and estate administration disputes
  • Claims to remove executors
  • Challenging the validity of a will based on undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity and/or knowledge and consent
  • Trust disputes
  • Equitable remedies including proprietary estoppel, resulting trust and constructive trust claims
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Disputes between trustees and beneficiaries
  • Disputes with professional deputies


LLB (Hons) University of Hertfordshire in 2005, Legal Practice Course University of Law in 2007, qualified as a solicitor in April 2009.
