Victoria Denis

Victoria is a specialist education solicitor, predominantly focusing on further and higher education law. Victoria has particular experience involving non-academic misconduct, assault, battery and sexual misconduct at university. Victoria has represented clients in higher education disputes against large media companies, publications, and universities.

She has case experience around the Equality Act, covering disability discrimination, race discrimination and sex discrimination, including LGBTQ+.

Victoria has advised students throughout university complaints procedures and the appeals process to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.

She has also undertaken cross-jurisdictional work in the US and EU.

Victoria has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Florida. She went on to obtain her LLB at the University of Birmingham and Master’s at City, University of London, where she authored her dissertation on the impact of misinformation on the dissemination of harmful online content in light of the developing Online Safety Act.

In her free time, Victoria enjoys cooking comfort food, yoga, and improvisational theatre.
