Nick Ross

Nick is a Trainee Solicitor in the Criminal Defence team, previously an Accredited Police Station Representative.

Prior to working in criminal defence, Nick had a successful career as a journalist and a magazine editor, during which time he spent several years living and working in Southeast Asia. He began making the transition to working in the legal profession in 2018.

With two graduate diplomas under his belt, Nick initially earnt his stripes as a paralegal. Working on a wide-ranging caseload that included anything from common assault and possession of class B, through to arson with intent, perverting the course of justice, VHCC fraud cases and murder, he found that his real passion was for assisting clients at police stations. He has now undertaken a more wide-ranging role which puts him on the path to qualifying as a lawyer.

Nick’s background as a journalist and his growing knowledge of the processes and procedures of the criminal justice system have proven invaluable to defending suspects at police stations. Nick brings his passion and wide-ranging skillset to his role at IBB Law.
